I thought that the cemetery was responsible for the maintenance of gravesites?

Cemeteries typically manage general upkeep tasks such as lawn care, general upkeep of the grounds, and maintaining access roads. Their maintenance crews are generally not equipped to offer the detailed and personalized care that many families desire to honor and preserve the resting places of their loved ones.

I pay for perpetual care so why would I need your services?

Perpetual care (aka endowed care or permanent care) funds are used for general maintenance and repair of cemetery grounds.  The family (Plot Owner) is responsible for caring for the headstone and keeping the gravesite neat and clean.

Is your business insured?

Yes, Gravestone Revival is FULLY LICENSED & INSURED for all services that we offer in the State of New York.

Do you offer a discount for Family Plots?

Yes we do! Contact Us to discuss your needs and to inquire about discounted plans that are structured to your needs.

Why do I need to clean my headstone?

Over time, lichen, moss, mold, sap, bird droppings, acid rain, the environment and more can adhere to a gravestone and wreak havoc. Our non-ionic, biological cleaning process can brighten up the stone and slow future growth. The cleaner continues to work over a period of days or weeks, and the headstone will look even better as time passes. Cleaning is recommended 2-4 times per year, depending on locale. For example, more frequent cleaning may be necessary if the monument resides under pine trees.

What kinds of items do you deliver?

We deliver fresh floral arrangements, ribbon-tied bouquets, potted plants, wreaths, grave blankets, cards, photos, messages or other items that you may request. We do not deliver artificial flowers, balloons or other items that are typically restricted by cemeteries.

What if the cemetery has restrictions?

We check the rules & regulations of your cemetery before we place any flowers or other items at the gravesite. You will be informed of any limitations that may interfere with your request.

Can you deliver a message for me?

Yes we can! We can read a verbal message, a poem, or a gravesite prayer. We also deliver written messages. Your written message will be kept private, in a sealed envelope.

Can you do any hardscaping or plant flowers, bulbs, or shrubs?

We can provide any landscaping or hardscaping services or plantings that stay within the cemetery’s guidelines. You can contact your cemetery to determine if the services that you desire are allowed.

How will I know that you have performed the services that I requested?

We will always provide you with a Before & After Picture taken at the gravesite, as proof of services rendered, either by email or text.

I am unsure of the exact location of the burial site. Are you able to find it for me?

We will make every effort to locate your loved one’s grave with the information that you have available. Providing us with the gravesite section and plot number is ideal, but a minimum, we need the name of the cemetery and the name on the headstone or marker. We charge a $25 fee to locate non-specified grave locations.

I have been unable to visit the gravesite for a long time. What if the gravestone is in disrepair or if the plot is in need of upkeep.

We will notify you if there are any issues or concerns regarding the gravestone or plot. Photos will be sent to you via email or text so we can discuss the situation.

Do you offer any Pet Memorial services?

Yes we do! We are pet owners too and know that pets are an integral part of the family and are memorialized in many ways. Contact us to inquire how we can customize a care plan for your beloved pet’s gravesite.
